Black man vs Black Women

I'm sure we all aware of this stupid ass manmade divide between the black woman and black man.

I can admit for some time, I truly felt like the black man was unnecessary. I've been doing pretty much everything on my own so, what's the use.... crazy right. For an even larger portion of my life, I didn't want to get married or have children. I would say it was because I wanted to travel the world and I didn't want anything holding me back. Now, with more self-awareness I would say that to replace my fear of being rejected or not being desired in that capacity.

Today, I truly desire unconditional love including the contractual agreement of marriage. Why?! Because I feel like I deserve it, I am love and I know how to give and receive unconditional love. I have gained more understanding of the importance of having your person. Your everyday person that is in tune with your life. Someone that is on your same wavelength where you can talk about things that simulate your mind. Someone to validate how you feel. Everything mentioned can come from friends too, but you catch my drift, or you don't. However, Society has been brainwashed especially black women into hating ourselves and our men and vice versa.

The video I'm sharing today provides people of African ethnicity insight on many things we struggle with today like dating, parenting, and self-worth. Please take your time to watch the entire video and also look into reading Shahrazad Ali books located right on Amazon. (I haven't seen them in my local library)
